Kardamena is a town located in the southern part of the island of Kos. This is where young people from all over the world come for vacation. Certainly, this is not a place for those seeking only peace and quiet. After taking a lot of baths in the Aegean Sea, the temporary islanders go to one of the many restaurants to eat dinner. Then they go to shopping madness, and in the evening to pubs and bars to meet friends. Together, they enter in a state of relaxation. After the chill out in the international company around midnight, they go to all known on the island night club Downtown. There is no way to miss it, because it is located in the very center of Kardamena. By participating in one of the events you can get the impression that you are moving back at least 20 years. At the very entrance, we receive a card with the date of the event, which later turns into for a drink or a drink. This pleasure costs 6 euros, and the form of the whole incident may introduce many a club member into a state of surprise. However, we should not be indifferent to the Why Not bar, whose dance floor fills up around one o’clock at night.

The following places enjoy the greatest recognition among vacationers: Avli, Meze & Grill by Skala, Garden, Tasty Corner, The Stone Roses, Garden.
During the day, you would also have to head to the mountains, along the sea to the Malibu Beach Bar and the Atlantis restaurant. They are the perfect places to relax. The first one provides us with exotic style relaxation. We drink here not only delicious drinks or cocktails, but we will use the pool. The hosts also meet the lovers of swimming in the sea, offering a developed descent into the water. After relaxing in the water, comfortable sun loungers await us, and within our reach there is a bar, commanded by two exceptional brothers. Do not forget to drink a red or blue cocktail with ice or a frappe. They have a refreshing function. If you ever dreamed of this form of marriage, this place creates this opportunity. Heading further towards the mountains, we will encounter the aforementioned Atlantis restaurant. Its location provides us with full relaxation. This is one of the places you simply want to enter.Its charm is not just about its position. As in every home and restaurant, the host makes us want to stay in. For full happiness, we lack only a good kitchen, which in this case we will certainly find here. The whole ritual should start here with the delicious Frappe coffee with vanilla ice cream.
In Kardamena there are many offices offering tours and car, bike, scooter and quad rental. An example of a car rental company is Manos, where the prices of renting a vehicle for one day start from 40 euros. If you decide to use the services of the office on the spot you will be greeted by Veronica, who knows the island as your own pocket and will certainly help you plan the perfect route for you. Let’s be ready for a conversation in English here. In the very center of the village, there is a small harbour, from which ships sail, among others, to the beautiful island of Nisyros, famous for its volcano and white buildings. One of the carriers offering a round trip is Agios Konstantinos. The most favorable day for taking a trip on this ship is Sunday (9:30 am), because then we have the choice of two hours to return to Kardamena (15:30 or 20:10). Right next to the port is a small city beach with a water sports center. The most popular attraction here is parascending, i.e. parachute flight for a speeding boat. We can reach the skies alone, in tandem and even as a trio, provided that we do not exceed a certain weight. They fly: couples, parents with children, and even grandparents with grandchildren. The view that appears before our eyes after flying up is worth the initial stress. During the flight, the crew takes pictures that we can purchase after the whole event. In summer, concerts of traditional Greek music take place in Kardamena, where the inhabitants of the island and tourists dance the famous zorba.
